It's an older facility ('50s would be my guess), but the couple in charge of the place were doing a nice job upgrading it and repairing what needed to be repaired. The room was clean (except for some diatomaceous earth that had been tracked in earlier in the day, we got there after midnight) and comfortable and quiet. Totally acceptable value lodging.”

“The hotel had many spare rooms the night I arrived but the front desk clerk refused to change mine.She said that it was a third party booking and she couldn't do it, as it was in a different category . None of them were luxury rooms, have never been to a hotel where they would not change a room for you. weird”

“We found it very nice for the price. There was a broken elevator that it appeared they weren't even trying to repair? That was confusing. So a bit of a chore lugging a weeks worth of luggage to the 2nd floor. We got the deluxe double and the room was very spacious with a cool almost bay window type of thing. Breakfast was pretty ordinary and exactly the same offerings every day. If you love the waffle makers,then you have it made here. The maid service did come daily to empty trash and bring……
