"We stayed at barcelo Maya Riviera adults only in early November and had a great time. We loved the buffet and Agave restaurant specifically (we are not fussy with food, we thought everything was great, I had tacos every day!). The beach area is awesome to snorkel and observe coral life, we saw so many types of fish, stingrays, and even a sea turtle. I highly recommend bringing water shoes and a snorkel unless you are ok getting it from the gift shop! We also walked through the grounds and enjoyed playa Mexicana to buy some souvenirs. Staff is great and the hotel is well maintained, pool's clean and room's awesome. We only had 1 day of rain! "

"The attention to detail from the staffing was amazing. They were so intentional and seemed so happy to be working and serving. It was awesome to watch and it really set the tone for the resort. True staff was always working and really worked hard to make your stay pleasant and they cared a ton! Always a clean room, great food, amenities and bars. 11/10"

"Great staff. All very helpful and friendly. We stayed in the Family Selection with swim up. Family selection is the only way to go if you have kids. The rooms were clean. Included butler was awesome. Allowed you to book dinners at a la carte easily. Beach is good, but not amazing. Nice sand, but a little rocky walking out. Pools are nice. Food is pretty good for an all inclusive. Plenty of variety. Nobody got sick. We had a 13 year old and 9 year old. Kept them busy. Highly recommend. "
