"This was the first time my husband & I stayed at The American Hotel, we've stayed at plenty of Hilton Hotels in the past. From the moment we parked our car with Valet to the moment we checked out we were pleasantly surprised with ALL the staff!! The American Hotel Atlanta Downtown is a very clean and nicely designed hotel. When we were looking for food after checking in, the front desk staff suggested we try the wings and fries at the restaurant inside the Hotel, which turned out to be a hit!! We choose this Hotel because it is walking distance to the State Farm Arena where we were attending an event. Walking there we noticed lots of things to do. I didn't get everyone's name but at some point I did interact with Renee who just happened to give me a card with her name. Thanks Renee and Team you guys were great and very helpful. "Staff at the Marriott was outstanding! One of the waiters at the high Velocity restaurant deserves honorable mention (Andrew) for making our stay extra special. Great heated pool, clean rooms and outstanding decor! The best part of this hotel was the location! It’s near everything you’d want to experience as a first timer in Atlanta! Had my daughter with me and this place was perfect for her!"
