“The picture of the full kitchen on the website was the kitchen for the family that lived upstairs only. The place we stayed was a basement apartment, which was not stated on the VRBO site. The microwave had cooked crumbs in it. The dish drainer was dirty and had a dirty coffee cup in it. The dishes were sparse, but there were plenty of silverware.There were no glasses, but did have 4 champagne glasses. Towels were ok, but there was only one washcloth (with a big hole in it). “Overall, the place is great! Every nicely appointed and furnished. Very cozy & met all our needs. Great location, close to Western and downtown. Excellent communication with and by our host. Only 2 drawbacks: i) outside entryway was rather overgrown with plants and need to be trimmed, which impeded access somewhat on the rather narrow walkway; and 2) the stairway up to the unit is in good shape, but is on the narrower side, and quite steep. “Everything went really well. The apartment is perfect and clean. The only two issues are: (1) the apartment was very hot and we couldn’t find the control for temperature; (2) the outside of the apartment like the entrance to the building and the building corridors were but clean and the stairs entering the building is slippery. However, if I go to London again I would use this place especially over summer.”
