Fantastic location that offers parking (at £20/day). Friendly and courteous staff. The room itself is a little dated. The bathroom in the classic double room is London size. There is not suitable table in the room that will fit a laptop, but I guess the hotel is not really going for the modern business vibe anyway. I might also mention that I’m a gold member but didn’t seem to notice any benefits.

Great location. Pricey parking and food but nice rooms. Staff friendly although the hotel seemed a bit short staffed during our stay.
I don't write reviews very often but must say...We had a WONDERFUL stay :-) The location is convenient, the staff very accommodating, the bed was very comfortable and the property very clean. A BIG shout out to Naomi and Chris who took great care of us! Thank you!
We loved the people here especially Chris and Isobel and all the others i didn't get their names. Helpful. Friendly. Beautiful building, great food, perfect location.
Was a bit disappointed with our stay and the hotel does not really warrant a five star rating. Our room was pleasant enough even though the white walls could have done with redecorating. The bathroom was a converted cupboard and was so small it was unbelievable. Could not really shut the door as it was so hot and to the point of almost being claustrophobic. You could just about turn around in the shower but it was very difficult to actual get the door closed.
Thought that charging residents to leave your car in the hotels car park was a bit of a cheek especially as the rooms were expensive enough. We had a drink in the hotel bar one evening and was astounded to see a service charge applied to our bill.
Was a little disappointed at the English cooked breakfast but there were plenty of other options.
The staff were very pleasant but the blond young lady from housekeeping who changed the quilt for sheets was really lovely and exceptional helpful.
