Sand Lake Castle Hotels

Safe, clean and quiet - everything one would wish. And, a delicious waffle breakfast.

Check in was easy and fast . The host was very courteous

The hotel is very close to RPI and staff are friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed staying at Hilton Garden Inn Troy.

Our room was right across from the pool which was great for the kids.

Extremely clean room. This is not a high end room, but I would not expect that for what I paid. The room was clean, well appointed, and all of the furniture was in great shape. I was very pleased.

Arrived late after office closed. Easy arrangements for check in made with no issues. Light in room was on to welcome me. Room was very clean with nice appointments of water, coffee, tea, chocolates.

This motel is in a convenient location for visiting Williams College. Rooms are clean and the mattresses are very comfortable. They have the largest TV screens I've seen in any motel. Their Continental breakfast is extensive with a variety of pastries, breads, and beverages. The staff is kind, caring, helpful, and accommodating.

The quirky design features such as vintage furniture and painted floors are a great juxtaposition to the perfect bed linens and...

Although the house is quaint, extra clean, and decorated perfectly, the star of our stay was the innkeeper, John. From the moment we walked in, it was like seeing an old friend. John was friendly, kind and took excellent care of us. His hospitality made us want to come back again....very soon.

It was a great stay!!

We loved our room. We loved that everything was new and gorgeous. We loved that we could buy a midnight snack. We loved the reasonable pricing. We loved that the location was so convenient for us. We loved the river view from the corridor. (Would have loved that view from our room, but alas, we faced the other direction.) We appreciated how friendly staff were towards us. The only thing we were less than perfectly satisfied with, was that we did not have bedding for the sofa-bed ready in our...
