“Our stay here was very nice. Booked it for two nights, and had everything we needed. Got a bit hot even with the a/c unit, but everything else was good. Would stay here again!”

After several attempts someone finally picked up our call— to repeatedly say they had sent “several” app‑based messages, later they sent a whatsapp message with detials. As travelers, it’s unrealistic to expect visitors to download multiple apps, have stable network access, read instructions, and then open doors using codes. The other couple also had phone problems……

“There is a new house under construction next door, and the construction work starts at 6:30 AM. If you're planning to sleep past that time, don't expect a quiet morning. Right after making the reservation, I contacted the host through Expedia to cancel my booking. I didn't receive any response for several days. When the host finally replied, the only response was, "Please follow the attached rules," where I discovered that cancellations were only allowed within the first few hours after……
