“Nice place to live (self catering type) but a slop hill of about 25m to walk through if on foot. With 7 day pass, it is easy to travel to Boston city about 40mins. Nearby, get restaurants and 7-11. It is a good place (cost effective) to stay for my Boston marathon and walk around Boston. ”

“At the beginning, I booked only 1 night here, however after I lived here, I couldn’t help keeping booking one night more and more, Even sharing bathroom, couldn’t bother me too much about that, And I had been kept Stayed at Room 301(Sturfs) for all my stay here, which is a Small but Warm room with romantic view of Commonwealth Eve in the snow, and a small white shelf with a Lot Of Wonderful Books. “Well, the room was nice. The problem was it was on the third floor of a house that was 2 full blocks away from the Salem Inn. I'm a fairly in shape 72 year old, but I had to roll my 35 pound suitcase those 2 blocks, which was fine. What wasn't fine, I was on the 3rd floor. Had to drag my suitcase up 2 long staircases to get to my room. No elevator, and no staff to help. It would have been nice to have known that before booking this hotel. I know it is old time Salem, but a heads up would have……

“Everything was lovely. Great owners. Be aware that Salem does not allow for inns to cook full breakfasts for guests. If you are allergic to or sensitive to cats, be aware that the owners have several cats.”

“Daniels House Inn is a beautiful home with lots of history and character. We stayed in the Great Room and loved it. The room had a very comfy king-sized adjustable bed that was great after long days of walking the town! The property is very close to all of the shops and attractions in Salem. We always try to find accommodations with history and this home has tons of antiques and other interesting historical documents and such. Would stay here again if we ever make it back to Salem!”
