Outstanding value
This was an outstanding value for us. About 30-40 minutes to most attractions in the area, very close to Douglas Lake. The cabin is much more than I expected for what we paid. I am pretty used to renting run down cabins to hunt or fish out of, especially out west. This place is very well maintained, there is a large pond right below the cabin on the neighbor's property; you can sit on the wrap around porch and enjoy the evening. The master bedroom and other bedroom are connected by a large walk in closet, perfect to get your luggage and gear out of the way. Very nice kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals, including an air fryer. AC works great, you can take a scalding hot shower, wash clothes, everything you need. The living room is very nice, with comfortable couches and room to relax. To keep you sane by keeping your kids satisfied, the WiFi works well and there are TVs in each room. If you are a super picky person that thinks they need to be 10 minutes from the most heavily trafficked attractions in the region, pass. If you think an owner needs to keep up with what you saw on HGTV last night because you have delusions you are some kind of interior designer, pass. If you want a nice, clean cabin with quality appliances, nice furniture, comfortable and cozy at an extremely reasonable rate , quiet in the evening, and enough room for your family to live comfortably for a week, and don't mind (or even enjoy) mountain drives, scoop it up.

Good place for a great price
We stayed for two nights, wanting to visit Pigeon Forge for a bit. Depending on how you look at things, for us, the drive wasn’t bad, 30 minute drive to get somewhere is nothing for us. The road getting to the cabin/house is very curvy so drive slow. You are going into the mountains. The place has its charm but the walls are on the thinner side which didn’t bother us. The only problem we’ve encountered was, the water pressure on the second day seemed completely non-existent. Anywhere in the house. I’m really hoping they can figure out what the problem is before someone else stays there. I tried messaging them but haven’t received a reply. Luckily we we’re leaving the next morning so it didn’t bother us much but it did put a damper on the trip.

Great little place
We loved staying here. We didn’t realize quite how far it would be from town, but that really didn’t matter to us. If you don’t mind that, this is just a perfect spot with lots of windows and was nice and clean. It’s tucked in the trees, and it was so cozy when it rained. The wraparound porch was nice and our little dog had plenty of room to roam around.

My overall stay was quite nice. I did think the decor was a little outdated and wasn't at all what the picture showed. The bed didn't sleep very well either, but the mountaintop view was amazing and made up for what the house lacked.

Old pictures and lack of basic supplies
Some of the pictures are old as the kitchen and living room do not look that way now. We were left 1 dishcloth, 1 dish towel and no dish soap. And they wanted pots and pans to be hand washed? No hand soap anywhere. The cheap plastic cups were coated in soap scum. No basic cleaning supplies and when we called to ask a question, we got no response. The house could have been cleaner. We would not stay here again. How can you keep things clean while you’re staying here without even the most basic of supplies. Road to the house is 4.5 miles of very slow driving due to twists, turns and very steep grades so be prepared for it to take longer to get anywhere.
