"Expedia is not clear about the room options on their website. I thought I was reserving the room aboard the restored rail cars. We ended up in the hotel with a lovely regular room. Super disappointed! If you want the sleeper rail cars, you must select “deluxe sleeper.” Lovely elegant 1940s decor throughout the site. Food at Elsie’s Daughter was delicious but small portions. Several other good restaurants and Clumpie’s Ice Cream within walking distance. "

"Centrally located between Charming St. Elmo and trendy Southside. Comfortable bedding, quiet, super clean. Although not in a walkable area, St. Elmo and Southside are mere minutes away by car. There’s a brand new Food City grocery 0.8mi away if groceries in the mini-fridge are your thing. Super wonderful staff, easy check-in process."
