"This beach house was a great location for our family, right on the beach and not far to restaurants, grocery and shopping. We really had a great time playing on the beach, which is beautiful and spacious. There is a public beach access right next to the house but the beach was never crowded. The kitchen has everything you need in terms of pots, pans, etc. Everything was clean. My only two things with the house was that the beds upstairs are very lumpy and soft so if you prefer a firm mattress you may want to know that in advance, and the whole house shakes when the washing machine is on spin cycle. Other than that, the house was great for me, my husband, 3 kids and 2 grandparents. "

"This house is beautiful, and very close to the beach/ocean. Coffee on the deck and morning sunrises were just amazing. The kitchen island and long table were perfect for our family meals. Kyle, the host was very responsive to all questions. As per other reviews, the ice maker in the refrigerator still does not work, but the ice maker on the island was sufficient as we ran that and dumped it into the freezer. One jet on the hot tub still does not work, but we enjoyed it anyway. We had a wonderful trip and the home is very spacious and updated."

"Steps to the Sea was a great house for our family vacation. The house is beautifully updated/decorated and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. And the beach was great and not crowded!! Michelle was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to our questions both during booking and our stay. We would definitely stay at Steps to the Sea again!"

The hotel feels a bit dated, particularly the bathrooms and showers, which could really use an update. For the cost, I expected a more modern and polished experience."

"There were 7 of us and two dogs. This house was wonderful. The two floor setup was great. My husband loved the "crows nest" couch overlooking the beach and living area. The elevator was so helpful for my 80 year old Mom, as well as packing and groceries. The view from the deck and the few steps to the beach were glorious!!"
