Topsail island offers a lot to the tourist looking for a quieter beach experience. Everything from kayaking, pier fishing, sun bathing, surfing, great seafood, shopping, you know...the normal beach stuff, but topsail is different. Hard to explain, but many people I talk to speak of how they have been coming for decades, and it's they prefer here over any other beach trip destination. New visitors say this place is unique and wonderful. If you want a place to unwind, have a care free vacation, this is your place.
This is the view from the north tip of Topsail. Slowly giving itself back to the sea this part of the island doesn't have a long life to go. To the north is Camp Lejeune, a marine base.

I would have give all five star review except the shower was moldy around the door fixtures. They cleaned the shower stall, but failed to clean the glass shower doors and between the two sliders. Some attention to detail would help in this area. Other than that, a great hotel and value.

It was not air conditioning weather, however it did get humid and the air conditioning was hard to control. It would only let us put on the fan. The whole place was nice, clean, and a great family experience.

Loved the area, definitely has unique qualities. Not sure what it'd be like during the busy season, but early Oct worked out well for us.
