"Cute place, not a traditional hotel but once a motel that has been converted. Fun place in walking distance to Corktown. Reminds me of South Congress Hotel in Austin. Cafe and restaurant with patio on site. Kid-friendly."

"Liked its convenience to U o M hospital. Liked access to some restaurants. Breakfast was hot and good with good options. Coffee was good. Staff were pleasant. Bed was comfortable. Throw pillows on sofa, were old, dirty and smelly. Tub was dirty with soap scum. Corners/ grout in bathroom were not clean. Hallway outside the breakfast area and on the way to our room had damaged tile with a rug and warning sign over it. Pool was closed. Parking lot with major potholes. Blinds were cracked and had a missing piece…. We have stayed at this location multiple times in the past due to medical visits. This was the worst condition it has ever been in. We have seen its decline and name and ownership changes over the years. Unless we hear of major improvements we will be trying other hotels in the area."
