“Coming to Belmar for the first time and expecting a quaint little hotel. Instead, we were welcomed with the lovely scent of cigarettes and run down everything. From the lobby to the 10x10 room for $235 a night, everything was a disappointment. Pool was not in working order and completely emptied. If I ever return to Belmar, I will definitely not be staying at this property.”

“Very misleading hotel. Tiki bar, restaurant and pool bathroom are closed for repair, but didn't see any repair going on. Room was dirty, staff was not welcoming or informative at all, pool was dirty and freezing cold. No pool maintenance in the 3 days we were there. Hotel carpets are dirty and stained in the hallways. Worst trip ever, couldn't wait to go home. This hotel is charging double of what it should be charging. Beach across the street are not clean. Saw garbage and a hypodermic needle.……

“Old Motel, The Room was very Clean.. I would stay again!”

“Do not book this motel. Our window was broken for the duration of the trip, which was addressed at arrival. We were told maintenance would come to fix it, but no one ever showed up. Someone ended up climbing in through our window at 7am, which is when we discovered the window didn’t even lock. Police were called and they talked to the staff about getting someone to come and fix the window. Our window was broken for our entire weekend trip. This situation actually took up most of our 4th of July.……

“When i stayed for 4th of july there was no electricity. Room temperature at 82°. It was so uncomfortable. When I talked to front desk they said "sorry nothing we can do". I don't understand why it was not taken seriously or maybe call someone to fix the issue. I wish I could get a partial refund because even taking a shower was an issue. So bad.”
