"Beautiful, spacious, historic renovated schoolhouse, well appointed furnishings. Giant great room off the back and out to an expansive green which is NOT fenced enough to let your pet run loose, which they say in write up (our dog loved the great room to play in). A few things: If the weather is inclement, the firewood on the property along the fence will be wet. We arrived in rain and had sun the next two days but wood was wet, and could not locate any bagged firewood in Rhinebeck, so could not...

"House was very clean and owners seemed kind and thoughtful. They was a bottle of wine waiting for us at arrival. Beds and linens were very comfortable and shower had great water pressure. The view from the balcony is splendid with cozy outdoor furniture and an area for yoga or meditation. We just found the decor to be a little schizophrenic and overwhelming. "We were looking for a place to stay when visiting our son who lives in the Catskill area. The cottage was perfect. It was in a great location in town close to breweries, shops, and restaurants. It was beautifully furnished and very spacious. We definitely plan on staying there again when we visit our son."

"Beautiful and nicely renovated, very clean and comfortable place, in a neighborhood good for walking, close to downtown Catskill. Nice kitchen, updated appliances. Bedroom and bathroom both fine for two people, small, but clean and well designed. Our one complaint is that the bed did not have the best mattress, sloping in the middle and probably fairly old.
