“Glen was very friendly and greeted us when we arrived. He provided fresh eggs, milk, honey, and syrup from his farm, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch. The place was tidy, comfortable, and truly unique — it’s not every day you get to stay in a beautifully converted church! We enjoyed hearing about the history of the property from Glen, which made the stay feel even more personal. We also appreciated that our dogs were warmly welcomed, which made the visit complete. “We enjoyed our 5 night stay. The unit was clean and comfortable. As others may have mentioned, there is some noise from the nearby train track and bars, but that didn’t bother us much. We really appreciated the noise cancelling machine that was provided. One suggestion for improvement would be to make it explicit to guests that the backyard (incl. grill & hot tub) are shared between the upstairs and downstairs units. As guests in the upstairs unit, it felt awkward to hang out in the backyard,……
