“This was our second stay at Riverside Retreat! Everything is just perfect! Not a single detail has been overlooked! Every amenity you could possibly need is provided! The home is spotless & I have never stayed anywhere with such a wonderful kitchen that has anything you would need! Parking is easy, there is so much privacy & the grounds of the home are just beautiful! We had coffee every morning on the screened in porch, watching so many birds! Thank you! We can't wait to return!”

“It’s a very nice peaceful area, right near all the wineries. There is 3 different rentals on the property, but extremely close together. Almost too close, luckily we didn’t have much company, it really would have changed our experience. Would have loved ceiling fans, but that’s not a deal breaker. We had a fabulous time in the house and all over Fredricksburg.”

“The location was ideal, close to all our favorite wineries! It was close enough to main street that we were able to pop over and look around, but we avoided all the main street noise and traffic. We had a couple issues during our stay, but the property manager responded very quickly and was able to fix things! One note though, the house (especially the doors) are a bit creaky, which meant we had to tiptoe around to not wake up the baby, but that's more of a personal problem! Also wanted to note……

“Great location for Albert, Luckenbach, state parks, LBJ ranch, Fredericksburg, etc. Well-furnished, comfortable layout and cute outdoors spaces. Plentiful storage and counter space, especially in the bathroom. Looking forward to booking again.”

“Great house and the location is perfect for getting to many of our favorite wineries like Narrow Path, Siboney, Slate Theory and Hye Meadow. Right around the corner are 2 wonderful wineries: Ab Astris and Featherstone. The setting is quiet with many singing birds and a few cows talking every so often. Star watching from the hot tub is very nice.”
