There is a little market right across the street that is also super convenient if you forgot something or want a cold drink. Everyone in the surrounding cabins were super friendly! Really handy to general store and restaurants and you cant go wrong with the boat slip for easy access as well as low stress getting boat on and of trailer at the private ramp. Great find
"Highlands is a gorgeous property. They have more luxurious rooms on one side of the road with the restaurant. We stayed other side of the road at the Village at the highlands. Simple but well appointed. Great for our 1 night stay. A few minutes drive to Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park. The restaurant was 5 star. Delicious, make a reservation. Staff was awesome."
