“Very nice older property right near Gondola. No ac in rooms and windows shut so quite warm when we checked in. The hot tubs and pool were very nice. We had some plumbing issues. Probably a bit overpriced compared to some other properties nearby. We were attending the bluegrass festival and that was fantastic!”
“We normally stay at Marriott properties, but wanted to go off the beaten path and try something different for this trip. Hotel Telluride was quaint and charming. We arrived on the last night of a metal or electronic dance music fest and the patrons were noisy. Not the hotels fault but it did surface the fact that the walls are thin, and there is no insulation between floors. Also, the available underground parking seemed to be inadequate for a full house. The “Bistro” did not have a espresso……
“Heated Pool was not heated, staff was not helpful or knowledglable to really answer any questions or give directions. No restaurant services available.....this is unacceptable for a large resort of this caliber. Clean and modern but Expedia needs to be more up front or know whats going on with the resorts the provide access to.”
“Matt the owner was very personable and interesting to talk to. Our room was upstairs but very quiet and although we had a shared bathroom we never once saw anyone else use it. Great location to walk to town and also to catch the train. A nice breakfast was provided for us.”
“We love this place. It is our second time staying there. The staff up front, which might be the owner is such a wonderful human being. We came in for a race and would not have time to get breakfast that morning so she let us get a bunch of food from in back like bagels and cream cheese and peanut butter, fruit, etc. to make sure we could have breakfast the next morning before the race.
The place is so clean, so well kept and such a beautiful location. We would definitely stay there again and……
“LOVED this place. The town was adorable and fun. The hotel was historic but not old at all. Everything was update, but still had that old world charm. Extremely helpful staff, spacious and comfortable room, mountain views, and great amenities. Would definitely stay here again!”
