1. Staff were courteous with all interactions.
2. Room was very clean,basic amenities in the bathroom.
3. Overall building very clean, speaks of old world charm
4. The bed was wonderful and the pillows absolutely comfy.The chairs in our room were also very comfy to lounge in.
5. The bartender on in the lounge was very personable and kept up with the constant throng of people.
6. The shuttle. The driver was very nice and drove well.Be aware even though they say they will take you if the shuttle is avaliable that isnt always the case.
Things to improve/be aware of
1. Breakfast in the governors club- not bad, basic,not very hot.Scrambled eggs dont hold heat in general and were not very hot coming out of the serving tray.No clear direction on where to place dirty dishes.
2. The pool. The pool are in itself is set up very nice, cozy, it could use some additional seating though. The pool was fine. Not the warmest but certainly not the coldest I have been in. The whirlpool was warmer then the pool but not as warm as I would expect. Also once the jets turned on there was significant foam creation. Discoloration (dark colored/black) was noted to the grout surrounding the hot tub. And the kids. We went at about 4ish in the afternoon. The pool was packed and there were definitely more then 8 people (the max) in the hot tub. Would be nice to see some sort of attendant or staff member periodically checking in and enforcing the rules to allow for a plesant time for everyone.
