Great location, close to U of T (walking distance), transportation, restaurants and shopping. Apartment had all needed amenities, was micro-apartment but perfect space for two adults who spent most of the day enjoying sightseeing Toronto. Would definitely stay again!!
Nice / clean and convenient

My stay at the TeaHouse Condos in Toronto had both positive and negative aspects. The contactless check-in process was convenient and a definite plus. The condo itself was clean and equipped with ample cleaning supplies. The Wi-Fi was adequate, and having a refrigerator, washer/dryer inside the unit was very convenient.
The air conditioning worked extremely well, actually, it was a little too cold for me. However, I was concerned after using my black-light flashlight and noticing several unexplained stains on the bedsheets. Although the unit appeared clean overall, this raised questions about the cleanliness of the bedding.
My greatest disappointment occurred after my stay. I accidentally left behind a new jacket and confirmed that it belonged to me. Because I live in the US and could not return to Toronto within the limited pickup window, I offered to pay the full cost of having it shipped to me. Despite this reasonable offer, I was informed that my jacket had been disposed of. Also on my last day, there was no hot water. I contacted them but received no explanation.
Many guests visiting Toronto live outside the city or country and cannot simply return on short notice to retrieve a forgotten item. I believe a better effort should have been made to accommodate shipping of my item.
Unfortunately, the handling of my jacket overshadowed the positive aspects of my stay. Because of this experience, I will not return to this property or recommend it to others.
The check in procedure was cumbersome. You have to email them some details including your ID and a selfie. You also pay the damage deposit via PayPal before they send you the check in details. Note that contrary to the information from Expedia, there is no front desk for the accommodation. The security people there do not have anything to do with check in. Everything has to be done remotely.
Once the check-in hassle was over, the studio apartment was nice. It had all the usual amenities including a cooker, microwave and utensils.
The apartment was on the 13th floor of a condo in the heart of Yonge Street in Downtown Toronto with all the shops and restaurants. Perfect for the University and hospitals.
The host needs to improve on the check-in process. The damage deposit was refunded after a few days.
Property was clean and was same as what was listed on the site. Overall, we had comfortable stay, but we had few concerns:
1) parking was troublesome. We had to temporarily park the car on the street, get ourselves somehow buzzed in to a floor to get a parking remote from a lockbox, so tedious process.
2) Apartment was not equipped with laundry detergent
3) unable to adjust AC temperature, we had to turn it on and off to modulate the temperature
However, apart from this issue, stay was comfortable and location was in prime spot with view of yongee steer and near to shops and restaurants.
There was no live person I can talked with to help me to pay the security deposit and got the check in instruction. I had to go through the procedures all through email which cost me whole half day to get it done. That made me feel frustrated. Other than that, everything is ok to stay there.

This is not a typical hotel you check in to. The people at the front desk don't know anything about your reservation so you have to call when you arrive and some telep5agent sends you forms to complete the reservation. I walked out. Completely ridiculous.

Great location, a well-stocked kitchen, and plenty of towels. The biggest drawback was the check-in process, which was confusing. The instructions could be much clearer, especially regarding picking up the key before parking, opening the lockbox, and finding the correct parking level.
The unit was quite compact, with limited space for luggage or moving around comfortably. There was also quite a bit of street noise from Yonge Street at night. Blackout curtains would be a welcome addition, as the room was quite bright overnight. Overall, a good stay, but a few improvements would make the experience much smoother.
