I thought the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and updated and in the perfect location

Enjoyed the stay. Thank you!

Great place for Cortland parents to stay. Affordable, clean, nice staff and good beds. Everything you want for a good parent weekend visit!

Clean rooms. Very nice people.

Stayed 1 night looking at SUNY Cortland. It was perfect. Nice friendly staff and the hotel was very clean. Thank you!

We have stayed here often, and what we like most is that it's very homey, and we feel at home. It's a beautiful property, and the owners/hosts are always available if there are any issues. It's also very clean, and it has everything we need. We will continue to stay there!

Enjoy our stay very much! 10/10

My 7 C's are comfort, cleanliness, conveniences, character, close to points of interest, cost, and coolness (A/C). And Nightshade Inn & Gardens gets 5 out of 5 gold stars in each category. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and immaculate, with a lot of classic homey comforts in a recently remodeled and modern setting, with wonderful bathroom amenities, convenient free parking in front of your room, free and easy access to Wi-Fi and a wide range of free streaming TV programming (such as Roku,...

Very beautiful

Continental breakfast was simple and sufficient, great experience overall. We had an emergency situation at home (12 hrs away) and the manager was extremely helpful in working with us so that we could leave a day early. Would definitely recommend this hotel…close to Skeaneatles and the lake.

Hotel is super clean and our stay was superb!!! Our familybreally enjoyed the hotel!!!

And COVID regulations were very good. I stayed in room #9, which was fully outfitted in Mackenzie Child. It had a lake view and was quite cozy and comfortable. I would like to return in a warmer season to better experience the lake. If I had to name one negative, it's that the water pressure was pretty weak in the...

Clerk very personable and eager to accommodate our need to meet deadline. Breakfast was of nice variety, fresh, and plentiful. We'd recommend this hotel to anyone without reservations.

The room was very clean and comfortable
