“We are a family of 4 who spent 3 nights at this facility. We were outdoors most of the day and only used it to sleep in the night. We also didn’t cook although the facility has a kitchen. The pros - perfect location and decent size for a family. A number of restaurants are in walkable distance. The cons - the wifi/ internet never worked. The parking was a bit weird and tight. “Enjoyed a lovely stay at this family-friendly hotel. The hotel is remarkably well presented despite its heavy use from families and our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Appearance throughout suggested recent refurbishment to a high standard. All of the staff we met were helpful and buoyant. Food in the restaurant and bar was wholesome and reasonably priced.”

“The room was very comfortable and clean. Our only critique is that the towels were a bit skimpy and there was no face-cloth, despite only supplying liquid soap. The lobby provides plenty of space for gathering and the location is excellent. Ample parking for those arriving with a car. ”

“Really wish I'd booked at least 2 nights here at this beautiful property in this beautiful location! I was visiting from USA w/ my wife and we had great time. I took a little carriage ride across the street through the park, saw the Muckross house, saw some old buildings, had some great strolls, and had fun at the spa as well. “So this property is in bad need of a renovation. The carpets of the rooms looks like they’re from the 70s. Still, the doors are very old as well. The windows were rickity and there was construction next door with heavy machinery creating a lot of noise. In the end, we did not stay here. We did ask to cancel and for a refund, but we’ve heard nothing back from the management. My recommendation is find somewhere else to stay.”
