"Although this property is being updated and the inside of the rooms is now very good, with quality linens, mattresses and other furnishings, it is important to note that the property itself is an old style Motel with rooms opening directly to the parking lot and old style refurbished bathrooms. The pool was being refurbished and several of the breakfast menu items were not available. Also worth noting is that this is a Taos hotel where southwestern native american culture is at the for front of everything, yet the advertized 'indian' cuisine is actual shouth east asian indian cuisine and not native american cuisine...we were initially surprized by this nuance that can be easily misunderstood."
