Veenker Memorial Golf Course Tours

The location was pretty good, safe, and readily accessible from the freeway. I was there for the Iowa State fair. The price was really good compared to hotels that were close to the fair. The hotels within a few blocks of the fair cost about three times more. The hotel is within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and shopping centers. The only negative thing I would probably say is that they did not have enough ice cream in the freezer. Also, there’s no kitchenware or utensils. They also advertised a breakfast you could get in room service, but apparently, for some reason it was canceled and I don’t know if that was temporarily or if they just canceled it altogether. I would still recommend this hotel for people that are traveling.

This is the nicest LaQuinta I have ever stayed in! Located in a quiet area. The building seemed very new. Parking was easy. Buffet breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.
