“I loved my stay at The Beetroot. Michael was really helpful, and lovely to meet; he also gave me an early check-in which was great. Sam who was doing work around the car park was also really nice and really helpful. The room itself was perfect - comfortable bed, great selection of teas and I loved the decor of the bathroom. The location was perfect, too - so close walking distance to everything: restaurants, cafes, the beach, and all the tourist attractions. I only wish I could have stayed……

“We had a comfortable and friendly stay at St Peter’s B&B. We were given a ground floor converted stable room which was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The ensuite shower was amazing. “We recently attended a nearby wedding and stayed at The Five Bells, an amazing family-run pub and B&B. The family room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with complimentary toiletries that were especially appreciated as we’d forgotten ours at home. “Even though the hotel pictures made the building look up and together. It was very tired and in want of some TLC. The carpark adjacent to the hotel entrance was limited to 3 hours. Obviously the local authority runs this facility, but it would help if the carpark was twenty four seven. Luckily, I was down for the weekend for the Rowing Championships and managed to park for free along by Deal Rowing Club.”

“Bathroom door has rotted away at the bottom. This causes a musty damp smell which filled the room overnight. The strong smell of dust wasn’t pleasant either. Marks on walls very bright LED light in the heating control lit up the room whilst trying to sleep. Luckily we found a plaster in our wash bag to cover some of it up. Awful one sheet at a time toilet paper dispenser. Really not acceptable in a hotel room. Parking was free and lots of it. Chose this place as we knew we would arrive late and……
