“Clean and spacious room, tea and coffee facilities included in the room, which was nice. More choice of tea would have been nice, for example a herbal tea option. Breakfast was great value for money, and the service was superb. The young lady was extremely pleasant and welcoming.”

“Staff are overworked. They have to check you in while serving at the bar. We were charged by Expedia and charged a second time when we checked in for the stay. Expedia refused to assist in the resolution, saying we had to work it out with the hotel. ”

“Every member of staff we met was friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and our room was beautiful with a view over the river. It was quiet and comfortable and I loved the window seat in the bay window. The bathroom was enormous and boasted both bath and walk in shower. Unfortunately the basin taps were very difficult to turn off and trickled overnight but we were assured that this would be looked at and received sincere apologies for the inconvenience. “I booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel.……
