“I loved my stay at The Beetroot. Michael was really helpful, and lovely to meet; he also gave me an early check-in which was great. Sam who was doing work around the car park was also really nice and really helpful. The room itself was perfect - comfortable bed, great selection of teas and I loved the decor of the bathroom. The location was perfect, too - so close walking distance to everything: restaurants, cafes, the beach, and all the tourist attractions. I only wish I could have stayed……

“We had a comfortable and friendly stay at St Peter’s B&B. We were given a ground floor converted stable room which was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The ensuite shower was amazing. “Even though the hotel pictures made the building look up and together. It was very tired and in want of some TLC. The carpark adjacent to the hotel entrance was limited to 3 hours. Obviously the local authority runs this facility, but it would help if the carpark was twenty four seven. Luckily, I was down for the weekend for the Rowing Championships and managed to park for free along by Deal Rowing Club.”

“We recently attended a nearby wedding and stayed at The Five Bells, an amazing family-run pub and B&B. The family room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with complimentary toiletries that were especially appreciated as we’d forgotten ours at home. Mary and her daughters were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this lovely place.”

“Great location and with a parking space albeit very tight to get the car down the lane and we don’t have a large car. House was as described but very basic and just felt like not a lot of thought had gone into the decor and making it homely. Just a couple beach pics on the walls. Outdoors furniture was dirty. TV in the bedroom didn’t work. Bed was small and a bit uncomfortable. Downstairs toilet was dirty. Shower leaked and difficult to get in and out of the bath with the large shower……
