“Beautiful old world charm in good location being walking distance to several good eateries. Staff were extremely helpful especially with tourism recommendations. Additional cost for a beautiful breakfast well worth it. Highly recommend this property”

“The people at the University Plaza were great. Very pleasant and friendly. The room was not great. It's old and outdated. The bathtub was dirty and stained. It definitely needs to be replaced. There are no USB connections anywhere in the room. The carpet is worn and also in need of replacement. This used to be a great property and was one of the nicer places in Springfield at one time. Those days are in the past unless they upgrade and clean the place up a little.”

“I booked this on my way home from a work trip in KS. I booked the particular motel in KS over other choices because it had a hot tub. when I got there, it was not working and wouldn't be for some time. So, I chose this property on the way home because it had a hot tub in hopes to make up for the one I missed out on at the other place. I got to the property and this hot tub had water in it. But when I got closer, there was a handwritten sign that it was closed! In both places, the pool was……

“It was one of the better places I have stayed. Friendly staff greeted us and was easy check in. As always happens there is something wrong. The elevator wasn't working during our 3 day stay and our rooms were on the second floor. We had 2 rooms and going to the second floor via the stairs would not normally be a problem but one of our party has health issues and climbing stairs was a problem. With that being said, all else was great. One of the cleanest rooms, most comfortable bed, nicest……
