"Started off great management was very helpful and made my check in a pleasure. Room was surprisingly very nice, seems like recently remodel. Evening clerk was very friendly and helpful his name was Barry. Only issue we had was AC unit was struggling to cool our room. It's an older unit and just struggled but did the trick. I would definitely make a pit stop again anytime for my short getaways."

"Everyone is always very kind love the minimal rooms some hotels just have to much stuff in them. I asked for a a room on the Avon’s floor after she gave me one on the first floor and Ms. Karen didn’t hesitate. I just don’t feel safe on the first floor if I’m by myself. Thank you so much Ms. Karen. Only thing 100.00 dollars is a lot for incidentals most I buy is water. But I guess you need to being I worked in hotels and some people are just slobs. Thank you"

"It was a nice place but there was no pool, no breakfast and the rooftop restaurant was only open from 5-9 thurs- sat We also had showers that got water all over floor when you used them. Loved the balcony. Palm trees blocked ocean view. Needs some tweaking and it would be great."

Saint Simons Inn by the Lighthouse

"This was a great place to stay to access everything on St. Simon Island. It is so conveniently located to the lighthouse, the pier, the pier village shops and restaurants. The room was well decorated as was the Inn and everything was as pictured and very clean. The breakfast offered had cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, egg bites or oatmeal that could be warmed in the microwave, several breads selections. We did not use the pool, but it also was very clean. The only negative we have is that the parking under the facility was very tight in some spots due to the support columns, but they did have parking in the rear of the building or across the street as well. We will definitely return to stay here in the future."
