"The Brown Hotel is venerable establishment that always delights. The check-in was professional and very friendly. We were offered the shuttle to and from Churchill Downs. That made our visit very easy. We finished off the evening with cocktails and a Hot Brown at the Lobby Bar. I love this place!"

"This is our second time staying at this hotel. We find it very convenient to Main St distilleries and to the NuLu area on East Market St. The set up in the room is nice and the blackout shades work very well. We like that the elevators are fast and the ice machine in the basement can easily fill our large cooler we have on road trips. We enjoyed a drink and appetizer at Corner which is located on the 1st floor and has a nice patio. Our truck easily fits into the parking garage across the street and we pay for self park and the hotel texts you a QR code to scan off your phone for access. Only ‘complaint’ is there’s no microwave in the room to heat up leftovers. If we are back in Louisville we will definitely stay again. "

"Our family had a wonderful stay at this property while visiting Louisville. Rooms were spacious, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast tasty ad plentiful and location was ideal. We were able to walk to the Louisville Slugger and Mohammad Ali Museums as well as numerous dining options. We also visited the caverns, zoo, indoor adventure park and shopping mall which were all only a 10-20 minute drive from the location. Despite the small size of the indoor pool, the grandkids enjoyed the facility every night after our day's adventures. We highly recommend the facility and location."

"Hotel is in a great location for walking to everything. It was very clean and smelt nice. The only two complaints I have is the bedding was very cheap and rough. The bath towels were softer than the sheets! Bed was comfortable though and that the thermostat won’t go below 70!!! Thankfully we had a small fan in the car.There is a $30 charge for parking which I couldn’t find on the website before booking but it is what it is. Overall great stay and would stay again for location purposes."

"Room spacious with awesome bath! Everything updated and in excellent working order. Staff friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was there was no inhouse restaurant for an early breakfast. A most enjoyable experience overall."
