Far View Lodge was a convenient location for us. We enjoyed the nearby restaurant for dinner. We were a quick drive from the hiking trails and cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde National Park. We also enjoyed sitting on the small balcony at night and star gazing. It was a memorable stay.
Very nice, clean and close to Mesa Verde. Rooms were nice with plenty of room.
We were able to get connecting rooms in order for the grandkids to run back and forth without going outside. They enjoyed the pool and liked the choices in the breakfast buffet. Very quiet at night. Only negative would be having loud yelling at 8:00 AM coming from the pool on a weekend. Too early ...
The ac unit was loud. Xxxxxxxx. C. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Great location, clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast
Like the old road motel feel. Staff was friendly room was clean.
Free breakfast was terrible. Thankful a dennys was across the street.
Good place to stay near Mesa Verde. Rooms are pretty good and free breakfast before you go to the park.
It worked for us for what we needed and at a good price.
We can learn so much from Wetherill Mesa.
It's in Cortez. If you're staying in the state capital, Denver, you'll need to cover 260 miles to arrive there.
The only place to stay that's close to Wetherill Mesa is the Far View Lodge. Situated 0.3 miles away, it's a popular choice for people who come here.
If you're feeling a bit peckish after stopping at Wetherill Mesa, you can venture the short 0.08 miles to Far View Terrace Café (Mile Marker 15, Mesa Verde National Park). You won't need to venture too far to stumble upon Metate Room (Mesa Verde National Park, Mile Marker 15, Mesa Verde National Park). This bar is visited by travelers eager to kick up their heels.
