“Staff wasn’t that helpful as expected, they charge me extra for children still wasn’t very friendly . I didn’t like my stay there at all !”

“We had a brief overnight stay at The Rocky Cove B&B for our time in Ilfracombe, North Devon. Being an older property, the amenities were adequate for our short stay. We were lucky enough to find parking at the front of the property but like all places in the UK, if this was not available, would have been challenging. Our host was very accommodating but be sure to note that even though the property is a B&B, breakfast may not automatically be included in your rate which the host pointed out...

“Deluxe Double Room, 1 King Bed: We stayed two nights, one in a nice room over top of the pool hall in the back, and another over top of the bar/restaurant facing the waterfront. Being off season, both rooms were quiet enough after bedtime, and we slept well. Internet was good. Breakfast was okay, good enough, but not up to the standards of a modern hotel buffet. Parking was easy, and everything in the town was only a very short walk away.”

“We booked this last minute and, given the price, I wasn’t expecting much—but I was genuinely surprised at how great our stay turned out to be. The accommodation had everything we needed, and the very good WiFi included in the price was a big bonus. The onsite restaurant served delicious, reasonably priced food, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I also have to mention the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. “Our 2nd stay at the Sailors Rest...Nice room with fantastic views & a huge king size bed... Great shower & mini fridge with fresh milk & water ...nice touch. Happy with our 1 night stay in Beautiful Appledore & hopefully will return to the Sailors Rest in the future.”

“I stood at this family guesthouse for four nights when travelling on business in the area during May-June. The rooms are all upstairs, tidy neat, well-lighted and nicely decorated. You enter by their restaurant which, by the way, has very tasty seafood platters every day made by chef Steve, who also prepares an excellent English breakfast every morning. Although there appears to be no A/C, only heater, it's not needed because you are right next to the bay which provided very comfortable weather,...

Never seen anything like that before . When reeling off the stuff wrong with the room the staff were not bothered at all .
