It was a quaint, modern hotel in a good location in Pacific Grove. Main issue was how noisy it was. Being on 2nd floor, with balcony facing in of courtyard, you can hear the music late into the evening, even with glass doors closed. Had to call front desk to ask to turn off courtyard music around 9:30pm one night. The noisier part was hearing stomping and footsteps above where I was sleeping. Didn't usually stop until just before midnight, but would pick up again around 7am. They weren't the loudest, but as a light sleep, made it hard to get to bed before 10pm. In-hotel restaurant/room services was good, but didn't have much affordable, casual options to eat for dinner. Bit too fancy for my liking. Also room I was in had plenty of space, but had no desk and office chair to get work done. Could sit at couch with small round table, but lacked good back support.
Overall good hotel at good location, but definitely needs to work on better sound reduction and soundproofing footsteps that may prevent guests from sleeping peacefully.
