“Had an amazing stay with Avantika Taj this month. Rooms have a breathtaking views. Cleanliness,Hospitality is extremely impressive. The hotel is new, hence the service is slow but overall experience is great. The only challenge could be taking 50-60 steps every time ( especially for elders) which needs to be considered before booking as there is no other way to commute. Shall visit again . Thank you .”

“Management was great!! He spoke perfect English and was very helpful with everything. There is a straight walk to the main ghat on the Ganges, Dashashwamed Ghat, it’s about 10 minutes, and they have major ceremonies every night.”

“The lobby staff are very nice and friendly. My train from Varanasi to Kolkata was delayed to midnight, but I have no play to stay as the railway station was not very safe in night. The staff let me to wait at the lobby until 11pm, and arrange a rickshaw for me to railway station. I am very appreciate the nice attitude of the staff. I will stay again if I visit Varanasi! ”

“Friendly staff but not very keen on helping. Needed to be poked a bit. Room is spacious and the bathroom was good. The place can’t be accessed by car. Very close to the ghats”

“While checking in, the room was made but the bed sheets were dirty, the towels were dirty black. While upon asking the receptionist, they did changed to new bedsheets. It was a horrible experience overall. Please avoid to stay. ”

“Nice hotel. Room was small but comfortsble. Has a large balcony where it was was nice to sit and read. ”

“Staff is nice and courteous. Rooms were clean and updated. No issues during the stay. Housekeeping had to be called but I guess it’s primarily to allow for privacy/ security. Breakfast was good and the ability to order from kitchen was an awesome. ”
