“This place was a perfect place to stay on my trip to. A few miles from Cloudcroft, but a quick drive up the mountain to the heart of the town with the added bonus of being close to the High Rolls hiking trails. When I had trouble with the entry code, the owner showed up in seconds to help me in. I didn't think the photos quite did the place justice - there were three beds and lots of comfy seating. The huge front patio looked out on a lovely enclosed private yard. The wood fireplace was enjoyed……

Everything about the house reflects a wabi-sabi sensibility: simple, natural, and incredibly calming. Honor the host's wishes and leave your shoes at the genkan.
