"This hotel was comfortable, clean and the rooms were a good size. It is a bit farther from my son's home than expected so I will continue to look for the right location when I visit his family. I did have two suggestions. Neither ice machine I tried had ice. My TV, mysteriously, failed to have sound on the Fox News channel - the picture was there, but no audio. All the other channels of that kind (CNN, MSNBC, etc.) had sound. I don't know if that was a function of their cable service or not, but it was an irritation for me."

"Older property but very clean room and solid breakfast. Location near an intersection but rooms are shielded and away from street, so no noise. Easy location for visits to Pedernales State Park, Johnson estate and wineries along 290. Not fancy but seems family friendly."

"Very disappointed The toilet seat was falling off and I requested it be fixed and several hours later it was still barely hanging on. The breakfast didn’t offer much, the pool was dirty especially at Spring break and for a hotel that allows pets they should list that there is a $25 per day fee. I don’t even mind that but they should put some pet waste stations out so that guest will clean up after their animal. There were not any trash cans around to dump the waste. I knew this was going to be an average hotel but this the worst. "

"Beds where not comfortable and room was a little dirty and refrigerator did not work well. Other than that the Staff did a good job and where nice polite and new what they were doing. "

"Room was super nice and very clean. The decor was quite pleasing. The communication was perfect. We drove in late to the property and the ease of locating our cabin was perfect. After loving the cabin from the beginning the comfort and quietness only added to the experience. The morning brought chirping birds and a cool breeze on the above cabin deck, accessible by a nice little spiral staircase. Excellent place to enjoy a cup of coffee. Location is perfect ; just minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg. Comfort was excellent. We never used the hot tub but o did take a look. Just as clean and inviting as the cabin and property. We plan to return and enjoy all there is there to enjoy. There’s a beautiful fire pit, cornhole boards and a place to play bocce ball. Also a beautiful pool and awesome pickleball court. Pickleball paddles and balls included with the cabin. Can’t wait to return. What a find! "
