The architecture of the property and room design is super cool but the service inside the main restaurant was below average. I ate in the restaurant 3 times and every time the service was very slow and you had to wave your hand to grab someone's attention to order or get the bill. A bit chaotic when it shouldn't be.

One of the few options for a family of 4 where kids are not old enough to have a room of their own. The biggie bunk up room was a good solution. Property is clean and conveniently located near the tram that takes you right into the city center. Staff was also super helpful and friendly.

Some teething issues, which could be due to the relatively new ownership by Hoxton? e.g. the bar in the evening had run out of snacks in the evening (not great when the kitchen is closed already, too) with limited cocktail availability. Breakfast is really nice but rather expensive for what it is

Lovely and interesting hotel. Good rooms. Very friendly staff who had loads of advice. Area isn’t bad - it’s about 5 mins from central station on the tram - which stops close to the hotel. My only gripe is a lack of gym, and an extortionate amount to use the local gym (17 euros)!!!

The hotel is wonderful, it is beautiful and has a great restaurant and bar. We loved the access to bicycles. The bar is really good!! We loved our view of the water and the friendly staff. We will for sure be back!

We arrived at the hotel early and they graciously allowed us to check in after a 9 plus hour flight. The dining was very good and all staff was friendly. It is conveniently located across from a grocery store which we went to a couple of times.

Loved this property. Very easy to get to all of amsterdam from here. Downsides, mehu choices a bit thin and felt the bar was quite comfortable in its skin yet. Loved it though and will be back!!

We had the most amazing stay at the Hoxton Lloyd. This modern hotel gave us a home away from home during our trip to Amsterdam from Australia and was amazing on all fronts. In particular the staff were amazing and we loved the restaurant on site. Being huge foodies we ended up eating at the Bremen Brasserie a lot during our trip because we couldn’t help it. We loved the quirky touches that the Hoxton offers and will be coming back to stay here. It was a little away from the main city but only a short Uber or a nice walk which we did many times. We really liked this as it was so peaceful and restorative after a long busy day exploring the city. Thank you Hox!

We absolutely loved our short stay. The property is spacious and stylish, with a great restaurant on premises. The room was beautiful. It feels like home rather than a generic hotel room. The staff were all great. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely building with a stylish interior. Not too far from the centre of Amsterdam, not lots in the immediate vicinity but easy enough to get a tram direct to Centraal station or also to the museums.
