“The reason this hotel stands out is because it was just totally refurbished. You can still smell the new paint in my room. Apparently the Spark brand buys older hotels and then modernizes them up and redoes them. ”

However, they are as advertised and you shouldn’t get a room expecting a giant soak tub. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the river view balcony is very under advertised. “Impeccable housekeeping. Tasteful decor in the 3-story atrium. Large and comfortable dining area. Breakfast selection was better than those hotels that offer fake looking eggs, etc. Room was clean and inviting. Slept like a log on the bed and with the blackout blinds. Will definitely stay there again as our new home is being built in the Cornelia area. ”

“The room was clean, minus the floor. Walking around barefoot uncovered the dirty floors. There were no pool towels on the second day (pool is not connected to building so in frigid weather, that short walk is brutal) but we just used towels from the room. Staff was always super sweet, courteous, respectful, and friendly. Super safe area. Walking distance to most things. Hardly had to drive away from parking lot. Will definitely be coming back here again!”
