“Our room was quiet even though the hotel was close to the highway”

“The hotel room is large and clean, with a microwave and small pantry and cutlery. However the bathtub is a bit small comparatively. The hair dryer needs to be requested from the office but the opening hour is until 10pm so it will be a bit troublesome if you arrive later than that. Also you may be hearing noises from nearby rooms so consider if you are sensitive to noises during your sleep.”

“Beautiful timber structured lodge”

“The towels were stained or not washed well and there was food in the freezer from previous guests. Room was clean though.”

“A beautiful location, especially if you still want to be close to town but not within it. The lodge is stunning, with lots of little nooks to sit in. Lisa was fantastic to talk to and very accommodating! Highly recommend!”

“Place looked very welcoming. Staff was present to great us. Room was clean and very nice. Staff was so helpful, answering our questions and information on place and area. Had breakfast one day, a lot of good was gone, but not staffs fault. A lot of families were there and quite frankly took all what was available. Had sauna twice, very nice & relaxing! Overall a great visit!”

“We stayed here, in the off season (June), for a few days while we visited Yoho Park. It's about 15 minutes, up Kicking Horse Mountain, from the town of Golden and àbout 35 minutes to the Yoho Visitor centre in Field. Despite the fact that the building we were in was sold out (Mountaineer Lodge - I'm assuming the Glacier Lodge was the same) it was very quiet around the property. There are lots of places to go hiking, from right out the front door, as it is a ski resort. They do have a……

“This place is fantastic!! The room is really spacious and so clean. The pull out sofa was extremely comfortable. My son has slept on many pull outs and this one was 10/10!! The king bed is so soft and comfortable, we had the best sleep. We will be back!”
