"The view of the lake was great. Relaxing, laid -back setting. They have a nice blacktop trail around the lake, bring your fishing pole and artificial bait no live bait. I was told sometimes the park rangers come down and fish with the kids.The rooms are dated but nice and clean. It would have been nice if there was a microwave and a mini fridge. They offered s'mores by the campfire which was a big hit with the kids. The Restaurant had good service and food. We spent 2 days there on our way to the beach and visited The Natural Bridge area. There was a lot more to explore so we'll be back."

"Staff was nice and welcoming. The room was nice and clean, no musty smells. A/C worked great. Tub was a little awkward as it had deep ridges in it and no handles for my mother to get in. Breakfast had a good selection for everyone in the family. Pool looked nice and clean. Would definitely stay again. "

"The spot was very fitting for my two-night stay. I'm not very materialistic so I don't need much. Everything was up to par, but some minor things to note with the bathroom. The door didn't lock great and the shower faucet was crooked, so I had to maneuver it just to shower. Other than that, I'd come back for a short-term stay."
