“Fantastic service and location. Slept so good. ”

“Pros: location across from the beach, nice pool on site, location relative to some bars and the marina area, wristband door keys. Maintence was very quick to fix our shower! Cons: location is far from the "popular" shops and restaurants, remodeled but still very cheap feeling, water to shower and facet gets so hot it would blister a child in seconds, pool chairs for use with this reservation are located at a seperate location which would be a 20 minute walk on the beach or hopping on the trolley……

“Clean room, excellent staff, perfect for beach which is straight across the road. Rooms are small especially if you are travelling with kids but are perfectly ok for couples. Breakfast is a limited buffet but a nice option to grab and go. Would recommend on the whole”

“When I checked in on Friday afternoon, I asked the customer checkin person if there was going to be live music that night. He said yes. I also asked him if I could extend my stay by one day. He said the hotel was full for Saturday night. As it turned out, there was no music. Also, the hotel was not full for Saturday night; I checked on-line to learn there were still rooms available for Saturday night. Just incredibly lazy responses that cost the hotel another night from me.”

“The Expedia listing said “pay at property,” but I was charged through Expedia and then charged again by the hotel for the stay. On top of that, there were several hidden fees that were never clearly disclosed. The hotel charged $25 per day for parking in an almost empty lot, plus extra amenity fees for basic features that should already be included. The pools and other amenities were nothing special and did not justify the added cost. The food was overpriced for the quality, and I even found a……

“Services in room, replenishment, toiletries, towels etc not done. The older was rundown. Moving to the newer tower was an up charge of $175 per night. .Restaurant evening service poor. Vanessa pool side service was excellent! Beautiful beach could have had more amenities than just towels and umbrellas. For example food and drink service on the beach. We would not stay at that location again and we would consider other Opal properties. ”

“I reported the AC issue on the first day. I was told it was functioning normally, but the constant noise made it difficult to rest. We stayed three nights before being moved, and I feel that significantly affected our stay Furthermore, they knew perfectly well that the air conditioning in that room wasn't working properly, yet they still allowed the guest to stay there.”

“This is an excellent, if a bit pricey stay for those who need to be close to I-75, yet still want to be able to enjoy what Sarasota has to offer without going to the beach. So, if you’re going to Pinecraft, or even Downtown, it won’t be too hard, and it will let you do that. With a rental car, even SRQ won’t be too bad. The hotel is super clean and orderly. I really enjoyed how quiet it is, and the bed is super comfortable. If you’re going to be doing any lengthy reading, maybe better to do……
