“Wow this place is just amazing the only downside we only had one night we did look to extending while there. We had a three bedroom villa it was huge and our own pool which was a bit cold. The food was amazing it has two restaurants one of which caters for children and will cook what you want, We loved the fact you could go for lunch and the chef comes out and cooks what you want that’s what you call service. Werner and all the staff are very friendly and made our stay so memorable. Will……

“Die Gemeinschaftsterrasse mit Ausblick in die Weinberge war toll. Es gab Liegen und Sitzgruppen. Wir hatten die Unterkunft mit zwei Schlafzimmern gebucht und waren allein. Das war gut, denn andernfalls wäre es etwas eng auf der Terrasse geworden. Alles wirkt ziemlich beengt. Wie oft in Südafrikanischen B & Bs waren die Zimmer auch hier etwas vollgestellt und deshalb eng. Das Frühstück war recht gut, dier Service nett und aufmerksam. Insgesamt haben wir für den Preis und in Anbetracht der guten……

“Overall we had an excellent stay, however a couple of things. Other guests didn't respect the no noise after 10 PM rule and were quite loud which made it very hard to sleep as obviously in tents like these you hear everything. Also, we were struggling to enter the property when checking in. We were supposed to use the code for the gate received by email, but we weren't able to check our email and we were stuck for half an hour, trying to call the emergency number to no avail. “Nuwerus was one of the "fortunate" yet "unfortunate" places in Paarl that was "hit" hard with the recent fires. It was so close to the main buildings that I can only descibe it as hair-raising. Yet although you can see the fire damage to the gardens etc the service was once again spot-on and the facilities as clean and well appointed as we are used to. The owners really does care about the customers as well as the property. Well done is all I can say. Already booked my next stay.”

We had asked if we could bring breakfast back to the room for another guest who wanted to sleep in a little bit and they said we couldnt because they were concerned that the food would sustain the sheets. Very strange response to be honest. Especially since they have a dining table and chairs in the room. Also there wasn't much variety for breakfast or many options for dinner ”
