“8 minutes to walk to the amazing Playa de Carrillo. This accommodation is not only perfect in its location but for everyone who would like to exit busy touristy places. The staff was super-nice and the pools just in front of our apartment door have been excellent. Our 5yrs old daughter just loved to start and end her days with it. Apartment was basic equipped but more than enough to make our stay very comfortable. The selection on the breakfast was typical for the region, well sized and……

“Located about a mile and a half outside Playa Carrillo Beach, tucked away in a small community. This place offers peace and serenity for those searching for it. The backyard is a peaceful oasis offering a wonderful plunge pool, hammocks, charcoal and gas barbecue grills, plenty of seating for as many as 12 or more. The inside is spacious and quaint. “Our host Jason went out of his way to ensure we had a good stay at his place. We had support in getting to use a local pool, with groceries and transportation to our next location to mention a few. If you need local insights and super hospitality then go with Jason. The location is in a quiet local neighbourhood and it feels safe to have kids running around outside. “This house had a spectacular view - the most stunning i have ever seen in my life. It is a long, tough walk to a gorgeous, secluded beach (or a 5 minute drive), and is surrounded by wildlife. Puerto Carrillo is 5 minutes away and Samara 15 minutes - both have great restaurants. The caretakers are meticulous about the house, but brought fresh fruit everyday and were lovely. “There are honestly not enough words to be able to express how extraordinary this trip was for our family. The location is extraordinary. Ana and Freddie are the most amazing caretakers. They truly felt like our family by the end of the trip. The food that Ana cooked was spectacular. Our pickiest young eaters ate food they had never tried before and loved it. It almost felt like we were on a health trip because of how high-quality and delicious the meals were. The pool was a breathtaking view……

“Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that……
