We had high hopes for this hotel but unfortunately it didn’t feel 5*. A very cold check in experience considering we had been asked to let the team know in advance of our arrival from the UK. No hello, no welcome to the hotel, simply staring at a screen typing away - trying to upsell an upgrade room.
Considering we spent 7 days here it simply felt like a room. The pool and sauna is very much not a relaxing experience either - lots of children and residents who don’t really care that people are on holiday.
Ultimately in summation, this is a great choice for a short business trip but definitely not somewhere I’d recommend if you’re searching for a relaxing getaway downtown in Toronto.
