“The Hotel looked really nice from outside but BEWARE booking this hotel on Expedia. We booked a room over a year in advance and after driving 300 miles for 6 hours the desk workers informed us that the hotel doesn't actually recognise booking made through Expedia. We were not informed of this until we turned up only to find we had no where to stay for the night. Expedia were incredibly unhelpful on the phone and after an hour of trying to sort out their mistakes I hung up the phone and sorted……

“This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating……

“Rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable. Food at the pub was the best we had during 2 weeks in Wales. Staff was helpful, friendly, and very accomodating. Highly recommend this place as convient to the Cardiff airport and very comfortable.”

“Kind staff and pretty room. Breakfast was included which was a nice addition. Nothing fancy but did the job of filling us up!”

“My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up.”

“Staff were amazing, we stayed during a heatwave and they were helpful with ice from the bar. Other instances such as needing forks, hangers in our room and new towels were treated with the same professionalism ! The rooms do need a bit of updating but for what it was the price is exstremely reasonable. The room was very clean when we arrived.
