Lake Michigan. Path off Trail 9 at one place leads right to the lake. Peaceful to just stand and watch and listen to the waves as they crash to the shore. Trail 9 is the trail to hike if one wants to see the most in the shortest time. Great views throughout the trail. The trail is over 3 miles long and is considered a moderate trail. But certainly worth it. One gets to hike through forest, dunes, and other natural environments and see such a variety of sights.

"The rooms were clean but the bathroom lights did not work well… very dim lighting. Staff were not friendly other that Keisha she was amazing and very sweet as we had to leave before the breakfast open due to a gymnastic competition she opened the door and let me daughters eat early. The elevator had popcorn crumbs everywhere for the night and day we were there. The pool was supposed to be heated and it was an ice cube. Just overall very disappointed in our stay. Will not be staying there again! "

"I was shocked when I saw the condition of the building. So much work needed to be done in our bathroom. In the hallways. My boyfriend even noticed that there was no emergency certificate in the elevator. Makes you wonder if they're up to date or up to code. In addition to the poor condition to the building it must not be insulated too well because we could literally hear every step they were taking above us. Even in the middle of the night it was just noisy. I do not recommend this location."

"The room we had was awful and it stunk really bad. The night person on duty was rude. There was things in the room that was broken including the room phone so I kept going downstairs to complain and I asked about a different room and you only have 30 minutes from the time you check in. The elevator is small and old. The pool was closed and the breakfast sucked.. The photos on the website are misleading.I also couldn't get anyone from Expedia to help and possibly get another hotel. All in all very disappointed ☹️"

"Front desk had terrible customer service, the pool was down & I would have gotten a cheaper room that didn’t have a pool had I known that, the side access door remained unlocked through the night , the tub spout is coming off of the wall , the face of the bathroom vanity was ripped off , and the walls were so paper thin and non insulated you could hear everyone in their rooms. Beds were comfy "
