“Check in was ok, room had everything needed (lots of hot water, hairdryer etc.) It was pretty noisy the one night I stayed there and it wasn’t easy to sleep. Nice accommodation and a good location.”

“Lovely hotel and rooms with plenty of storage space. The rooms on ground floor have a parking space right outside with access via patio doors direct from the room which makes it easy to load/unload luggage. Bar area lovely for drinks. We didn't get chance to eat dinner at the restaurant but options on the menu looked nice. Breakfast was OK. Poached eggs tasted of vinegar but edible, bacon not too good but apart from that everything was exceptional and I would recommend staying here. Staff……

“I am going to celebrate my husband's wedding. The hotel is cosy and unique, it has a nice restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast during our stay, and a small library bar where you can chill with friends. The room is spacious and warm, we love this hotel.”

“Welcoming staff and parking is a positive. The toilets and showers are very poor. Doors on toilets don't lock properly, showers are very poor, no cleaning soap in shower or toilet or they were broken. This was on the 3rd floor. Don't know why I was on the third floor s there weren't many guests. Some guests I noticed leave a lot to be desired. I suppose you get what you pay for. This place is in need of a complete overhaul especially the toilet and shower facilities.”

“The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and is within walking distance of Newcastle University. The city centre is also easily accessible by bus. The staff were exceptional: warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Free coffee was also available throughout the day, which was a nice extra.”
