More than 150,000 patrons each year attend performances by the hall’s resident organizations, including the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, Norfolk Forum, the Virginia Arts Festival, the Virginia Ballet, Broadway in Norfolk and the Generic Theater.

Consider a more offbeat show by the Generic Theater on the lower floor of Chrysler Hall, known as Little Hall. Find Chrysler Hall in the heart of Norfolk, near the Scope Arena, which hosts hockey, basketball, conventions and concerts. For Chrysler Hall events, park for a fee at the Scope Garage or other nearby lots and garages. The Scope Garage fills quickly for large events, so plan to arrive at least an hour early. Alternatively, travel by light rail and disembark at Monticello Station.
