"Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at TRS Coral. The highlight was my butlers, José and Antonio. They were wonderful—friendly, attentive and genuinely thoughtful. They handled my dinner reservations, and one night even noticed I didn't have one and grabbed the last available reservation just in case. José walked me to get gelato, they brought me cake for my birthday, and after I wasn't feeling well one day, they remembered and checked on me the next day. My swim-up room was beautiful and private, overlooking the lagoon/canal. The room was spacious with a rainfall shower, double sinks, huge jetted tub, pillow menu and great AC. The bed was much too firm for me, though, and there were a few minor maintenance issues I wouldn't expect at this price point. Food was good and restaurant service was quick and friendly. Portions are small, so order an appetizer and dessert! Drinks are available at restaurants even if they aren't listed on the menu. My main issue was consistency: turndown only happened about 3 times, minibar restocking varied, room service could be slow, and the same drink could be prepared differently each time. A few tips: taxis to Cancun proper were 750 pesos EACH WAY, so budget accordingly. Turn off your Do Not Disturb light or they won't deliver room service. And in warmer months, check the humidity/"feels like" temperature, not just the forecast! Beautiful resort, great swim-up room, and exceptional service from José and Antonio."
