Overall, the experience was quite disappointing. The rooms at Moon Palace were not great—they felt outdated and not as clean or well-maintained as we expected for a resort at this price point. The resort also felt extremely crowded the entire time. There were too many people everywhere, especially in common areas like the arcade, which made it hard to enjoy. Even basic things like meals became frustrating, with long lines for lunch and dinner buffets almost every day. As vegetarians, we also struggled with food options. There were very limited choices available, and it became repetitive and difficult to find satisfying meals throughout the stay. Our biggest concern, however, was the experience at Moon Palace Grand during the presentation. The staff there came across as unhelpful and at times rude, which left a very negative impression. A simple issue like missing shower gel in the room turned into a hassle—we had to call multiple times, and it still took a long time to be delivered. Overall, the experience did not live up to the expectations or the cost. Between the crowded environment, limited food options, poor room quality, and service issues at Moon Palace Grand, it wasn’t the relaxing vacation we were hoping for. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff here is completely unmatched compared to any other resort we’ve stayed at—and we’ve stayed at quite a few. Right from check-in, two females absolutely set the tone. We were celebrating my wife's 39th birthday after our flights were cancelled due to bad weather. 10/10 welcome. The Playmakers are always a highlight, especially Cowboy—who somehow always knows when it’s our first day back and always manages to rope me into pool games. I don’t know how he does it, but I fall for it every time. Between the Playmakers and the staff overall, we genuinely feel like family when we stay. St. Patrick's Day at the Sexy Pool was 10/10\. All the playmakers showed up in amazing costumes and on stilts. Throw in a foam party and I've never seen the pool that energetic. Great job everyon! Now, to keep it real—there are a few downsides (because perfection is suspicious). The buffet is… meh at best. We definitely prefer the Italian and Hibachi. We didn't look at room service options this time as, in the past, we don't enjoy the offerings. We’d love to see more tiered guestroom options when it comes to comfort. The rooms are fine, but we miss that “ahhh” moment—you know, when you walk in and instantly feel wrapped in plush, luxurious relaxation. One more note from the pool: the music.
